Just received my rug... Really happy with the size. It's not real heavy like the ones we remember our Grandma's having. But I think with proper care it will serve it's purpose. I this might sound weird to some... But anyone with indoor pets and smooth floors understand the pet hair thing. I sweep a good bit... But I am constantly sweeping or vacuuming shed hair that has rolled up under the table.... These rugs will stop that from happening. It will only be able to collect around the edges and it's much easier to vacuum it up that way. I also have a braided rug under my pub table in the kitchen and noticed a big difference. It's a nice rug for the price.
